A native of Syosset, NY, Samuel Kim enters his first season as head coach of Columbia University. Prior to coming to Morningside, Kim spent a year as a staff assistant at Boston College for Jerry York and the Hockey Operations Staff. He has also served as a coach for the New York Islanders Hockey Academy working with youth hockey players across Long Island. A graduate of Boston College, Kim was a three-year ice hockey letterman at Syosset High School and served as an alternate captain in his senior season. Samuel currently resides in Flushing, NY.
